Sometimes I am asked what advice I might give/what I think is important to look for when trying to choose wedding photographer. After thinking about it, one of my biggest pieces of advice would be this:

In addition to really feeling good about your potential photographer's style and skill, I believe it is just as important to meet with him or her before booking if at all possible. This is because you and your loved ones will be spending a good part of your wedding day with whomever you choose - so I believe it is also very important to find someone who makes you feel comfortable, who will take good care of you and your loved ones, and someone with whom you could honestly see yourselves having fun working with. I truly believe that this makes a huge difference, and has such a big impact on the whole feeling and flow of your day. Also, if you truly feel relaxed and are having fun, this genuine emotion really shows in your photos! So whether it is with me or with someone else :), I really believe finding a photographer with whom you connect with is absolutely key to creating great images.
