As I do for all of my couples, I scouted for Dana ahead of time at all of her venues - the first being the Westlake Village Inn, since this was where she was getting ready the morning of her wedding day. My Mission: to find locations that she might like to use to shoot her bridal portraits & also her beautiful details! I was totally stoked to find that the property had little mini gardens tucked away in it, almost behind every corner :D.
I loved the way the leaves made their own pattern on the back of her dress, mirroring the lace detail :)
She was so excited & happy to see Nate later that day :D
We both fell in love with this honeysuckle archway and knew we had to get some shots in here as well!
We then hightailed it to Los Robles Greens, where we took advantage of their gardens as well for some wedding party & family shots!
Dana's Grandma is the cutest, btw. Just sayin' :)
After the ceremony we also took a walk through the trees ~
We ended Couples shots during Golden Hour at Dana's favorite gate.
Love, love golden light!! Yay
Aw, you guys are so sweet!
Nate is a huge baseball fan, so I also did another ring shot especially for him X)
The baseball bats were actually their guestbooks :D! And they carried the baseball theme into their reception by creating their own very cool version of guest seating cards:
I used to play ball in High School so this touched a special place in my heart :)
Dana & Nate, thank you so much again for allowing us to be a small part of your wonderful day ~ I wish you so much happiness, & many more golden sunsets :D.
Lots of Aloha,
~ e :)
